There is a daybed on the main floor that can be used as a single bed as well. There is a 200sqft covered deck with an outdoor kitchen set up, daybed and outdoor seating. Custom furniture and built in features made from the same old growth Hemlock tree are featured throughout the interior and exterior of the cabin.

-NEW FOR 2025- we are offering optional meal service as add ons to your stay. if you would like to skip shopping, meal planning and dishes, we can keep you well fed with delicious and nutritious meals including vegetables and eggs from our farm. We cam accommodate non- allergy related food preferences such as gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. If you have any of these requests please send a note when you book. Menu is set and rotating with what is in season.  If you are unsure if you want meals provided you can change your mind before your stay but we need at least 48 hrs notice before your arrival of any meal requests. We only offer this service for the A-frame and need to plan accordingly.

We also have fresh eggs from our hens and  honey from our bees available as add ons and will be left in the mailbox for you when you arrive. They can be purchase in person as well depending on supply.

We will have bottles of wine on hand for purchase, this doesn't need to be added on in advance but it helps. :)

--A small cast iron wood stove inside keeps it warm through the colder months.

-There is a  bathroom within a few feet of the cabin with a composting toilet. If you have never used one, don't worry, they are clean and very easy to use. There is an outdoor shower with instant hot water and a view of the river.

-The Washougal River is generally around 45-55 degrees in spring and fall and 65-75 degrees in summer. It can fluctuate quickly with shifts in the weather, but during the  summer months is calm and predictable and some of the best water to get into anywhere around.

--Beautiful hikes and walks such as Cape Horn and Beacon Rock are within a very short driving distance.

-There is a private section of beach with chairs by the river dedicated to guests staying at the A- Frame. This is set up for summer months only as the level and current can fluctuate quickly in the wetter months and submerge the beach area.

-River shoes are recommended in the summer.

Our 7' diameter cedar barrel sauna sits on the riverside a short walk away. A giant bubble window gives an unobstructed view of the river and all that passes by. This is a wood fired sauna, and shared with our other rental so we book times separately to ensure a private experience.  If you would like to use the sauna during your stay, you can add "sauna service" at check out. Prior to or at check in we will arrange your 2 hour session(s)(one time fee, one session/ per night booked ) and have everything hot and ready for you. The river makes for a perfect cold plunge and contrast therapy with the sauna in spring and fall.

There are no shoes allowed in the cabin or the sauna so a pair of slip ons are recommended to bring for using the bathroom and getting in and out of the sauna.

If you would like to meet our mini burros and other animals, let us know and we will set up a good time for a visit durning your stay.

The A- frame cabin has a maximum of 2 adults and is not appropriate for children. If you are looking for a child friendly option, please check out our tent cabin.

-No pets please.

-No commercial photography of any kind without prior agreement. If you would like to inquire about location use, please email us.
